This policy explains what information Josh Does Math ("JDM," "I," "we") collects through this website and the services used for inquiries, bookings, payments, and online tutoring, how it's used, and the choices you have. Plain language — no dark patterns.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, student type or level, the course or exam you mention, the tutoring format you're interested in, and the message you write. Clients may include teenagers, college students, and adults; parents are welcome to inquire on behalf of a student.

When you book an online session through Zoom Scheduler, booking information includes your name, email address, selected appointment, and any details you provide about your tutoring needs. Stripe processes your payment information, and we receive transaction information needed to manage the payment and any refund. Please do not send card details through the contact form or email.

How we use it

Contact form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry — to figure out whether tutoring is a good fit, suggest next steps, and discuss availability. Joshua may use Gmail to reply to you.

Booking and transaction information is used to schedule and provide tutoring, communicate about your session, manage payments, cancellations and refunds, and keep business records.

How it's stored and shared

This site is hosted by Netlify, and the contact form is processed and stored by Netlify Forms. Gmail is used for email correspondence. Zoom Scheduler handles online bookings, Zoom provides online sessions, and Stripe processes booking payments. These providers process information as needed to provide their services. We don't sell your information.

When you follow a booking link or join an online session, you use Zoom's services; payment information is handled through Stripe. These providers have their own privacy practices, including how they collect technical and usage information. See Zoom's Privacy Statement and Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

This website uses the OpenAI Ads measurement pixel to measure site visits and advertising performance. The pixel may collect technical information about your browser and interactions with this website and may use cookies or similar technologies. For more information, see OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

We do not currently use Google Analytics. External booking and payment services may use cookies and similar technologies under their own policies.

Your choices

• Ask what we have on you. Email joshdoesmath@gmail.com and we'll tell you.
• Ask us to correct something. Send an email describing the correction.
• Ask us to delete it. Send an email and we'll delete your contact form submission. You may also request deletion of booking or other information we hold; some transaction or business records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Information held by Zoom or Stripe is also subject to their policies.

If we update this policy we'll update the date above.
